    **Job Description:**

    **VOCATIONAL / EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST (IMPART TEAM)**

    This position is part of the IMPART team, which is a coordinated specialty care team that addresses the recent increase in children born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome due to opioid use by expectant mothers. The Vocational Support Specialist meets with our clients in the community or in their homes and provides benefits counseling and assists the client in seeking and obtaining competitive employment or pursuing education.

    ****?JOB DUTIES:****

    Job development with employers out in the community.

    Job coaching and follow along supports as needed.

    Job placement, including going back to school.

    Benefits counseling

    Complete the employment assessment

    Attending daily team meetings

    Provides cross training to the team about employment

    Crisis intervention as needed

    **EDUCATION:**

    1 year of experience assisting others with finding employment

    A bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related human service specialized fields of study including education.

    **OR....**

    A bachelors degree in an unrelated field and two years of related work experience.

    **OR...**

    A combination of four years or more of advanced education and two years of related work experience.

    **OR...**

    An Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support from an approved institution will also fulfill the educational requirements.

    **OR...**

    Four years work experience in a related field may substitute for educational requirements.

    **Where youll be working:**

    Youll be working in the community which will include clients homes, clinics, and other places around the community.
