- Create, plan, and execute software analysis, design, development, and documentation tasks.
- Participate in software requirements, design, and code reviews.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans for new software releases.
- Ensure technical outcomes meet established engineering principles and quality requirements.
- Perform fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair of test and tactical systems.
- Conduct technical analysis, testing, and evaluation using specialized equipment and/or computer programs.
- Interpret design specifications, documentation, and test results to ensure compliance with engineering standards and product requirements.
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C, C#, C++, Java, Ada, Python.
- Understanding and application of modern software development and systems engineering practices.
- Knowledge of the Software Life Cycle.
- Experience with software development environments, version control, and issue tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of real-time embedded operating systems.
- Experience with protocols such as J1939, CAN, Ethernet, Serial, and 1553.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills using test equipment and analysis tools.
- Required: 1 year of relevant experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Required: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Our client is seeking a skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for performing hands-on systems integration and testing of complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems. This role will involve working in both software labs and on tactical military hardware and vehicles. You will contribute to various stages of the software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and product assurance.
