- Develop and maintain effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain outstanding talent
- Manage the full spectrum of recruitment life cycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection
- Handle new employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with data protection requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and other fringe benefits
- Process payroll accurately and on-time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Help to curate and drive a world-class culture making CK Composites the employer of choice among top talent in Western Pennsylvania
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, administration, benefits, payroll, and compliance
- Familiarity with affirmative action plans and willingness to work with legal counsel on compliance
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
