Summary: Design Engineer required for creating custom designs in SolidWorks/Creo, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and company standards.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Creo for custom design and layout creation.
• Ability to review project proposals or plans to determine timelines and procedures.
• Experience reviewing product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Capability to analyze research data and proposed product specifications to assess feasibility.
• Experience evaluating design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Providing warranty assistance as needed.
• Preparing costing reports for current and new designs.

Preferred Skills:

• BS in Engineering is mandatory.
• Hydraulic design experience is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in truck manufacturing is beneficial.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create custom designs and layouts as required to meet customer orders or other specifications.
• Review project proposals or plans comprehensively.
• Ensure product designs comply with all relevant principles, standards, and requirements.
• Analyze research data to determine the feasibility of product proposals.
• Evaluate design changes promptly and accurately.
• Assist with warranties when necessary.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
