Position Summary:
The Data and Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of the organization's data systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficiency.
They lead data governance initiatives, implementing best practices for data management and utilizing insights to inform decision-making.Additionally, they oversee technical aspects of the organizations IT infrastructure and budget, playing a critical role in supporting and advancing organizational goals through effective data and technology management.

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, related field, or equivalent related experience.
Proven experience in managing and leading teams in data and information technology environments.
Proficiency in database management systems, data analytics tools, and information technology infrastructure.
Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in selecting, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking in managing IT projects and initiatives.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in data management and information technology.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of data and information technology.
Pass agency paid criminal justice screening fingerprints.
Pass agency paid TB (Tuberculosis) screening.
Pass agency health screening or drug testing, if required.
Possession of a valid California Drivers License and proof of valid auto insurance coverage.
Pass agency paid MVR clearance with no more than 2 points - if you are under the age of 25 our insurance company will not allow any points.
REQUIREMENTS:

Advocate for the best interests of the agency and clients we serve.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, co- workers, clients, supervisors, and members of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, ancestry, political affiliation, citizenship, disability, medical conditions, marital status, amnesty and military or veteran status.
Maintain confidentiality and confidential information in accordance with legal standards and/or agency regulations.
Participate in assigned scheduled agency me tings, in-service training, conferences, and other training as determined by the supervisor. This includes serving as an agency representative at assigned community meetings.
Observe assigned working hours and program appointments by demonstrating promptness and thorough preparation.
Perform assigned duties with a positive attitude and in the spirit of teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Perform job duties in a safe manner to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Participate in and/or supports agency fund development activities and events.
Prepare assigned reports, work records, statistical data, job performance evaluations, work plans, etc. in a timely manner.
