    Description
    Craft Machine is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to manufacture precision metal components and equipment. This role requires expertise in CNC machining processes, programming languages, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to efficiently produce machined parts
    Optimize CNC programs to maximize machining efficiency and minimize cycle times
    Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for CNC machining operations
    Set up and operate CNC machines to validate and optimize program performance
    Perform quality checks on machined parts to ensure conformance to specifications
    Maintain CNC programming documentation and version control for future reference
    Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field preferred
    Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment
    Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for CNC programming, such as Mastercam
    Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and machining parameters
    Familiarity with CNC machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting
    Experience with ERP systems, preferably JobBOSS, for managing production schedules and tracking job orders
    Visual acuity and attention to detail for inspecting machined parts
