    Description

    We are in search of the right Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans within the VA's disability benefits process.

    As part of the Disability Assessments, your responsibilities will include reviewing medical records digitally via a web portal and conducting a focused, in-person physical examination for each Veteran.

    You will be responsible for electronically documenting the examination findings mandated by the VA through the web portal.

    The Nurse Practitioner is not involved in making disability determinations; these decisions are solely made by the United States Veterans Administration.

    This role focuses solely on performing Disability Assessments on Veterans. It does not involve treatment or prescription of medication.

    On average, this position conducts Disability Assessments for 3-5 Veterans per day.

    Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8am-4pm)

    This is an IN-PERSON role.

    Key Attributes:

    • Passionate about conducting Independent Medical Assessments
    • Able to analyze data from medical records and examination findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
    • Proficient in time management, capable of staying focused and meeting requirements
    • Must possess a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
    • Skilled in computer usage

    Requirements:

    • Must hold a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
