Geographical ties to DFW Metroplex required.Our client or the "Company" is a private equity-sponsored business services platform that is growing rapidly through Mergers & Acquisitions ("M&A") and new organic site development across multiple States.
The platform partnered with a leading middle-market private equity group to provide financial and operational expertise and enhance expansion throughout existing and new opportunistic regions.
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the PE sponsor and Board of Directors, we are searching for aHead of Corporate Development / M&A
to coordinate and lead daily M&A execution from signed LOI to closing of the transaction and integration.
Key areas of focus include:
Partner with the CEO, CFO & COO, as well as other executive team members and business partners, play the role of deal "quarterback" on specific deals, plan and manage the overall transaction process and represent the Company in interactions with target company management and external advisors
Serve as a trusted advisor and M&A expert and support all aspects of the deal process, including sourcing/screening, initial assessment, pipeline management, financial modeling, due diligence, closing and integration prep
Create and execute strategy to develop a robust and consistent deal pipeline from proprietary and traditional sources that address all the Company's strategic lines of business
Track, review, analyze, and present financial summaries of target acquisitions
Lead the process of successful drafting, review, negotiation and execution of purchase agreements and other deal documentation, working closely with legal and tax experts and third-party advisors
Establish and maintain strong execution and communication processes with all external and internal team members, including Finance, Human Resources, Operations, IT, and other functions
Support special projects related to M&A activity, performance improvement, strategic initiatives and advanced financial analysis
Ideal candidates will possess a "roll up your sleeves, blue-collar" mentality, have extremely high interpersonal and relationship skills or "EQ" coupled with 7-10+ years of relevant experience in M&A execution within private equity, investment banking, corporate development, transaction advisory services or related industries, preferably with lower-middle market organizations.
