Job summary

This position is responsible for using the 8-way hand tie method to install springs in frames used in the manufacture of upholstered furniture.

Responsibilities

• Places springs in frame and ties down using the 8-way hand tie method
• Cover springs in seat with FLW and attaches using staple gun
• Installs no sags on backs of frame as needed
• Applies burlap fabric to arms and legs and uses staples or nails to attach burlap and metal bands
• Applies edge wire where needed
• Builds backs installs Marshall units no sags webbing drop-in units edge roll/li>Frequently rotates in each job functions throughout day/li_Attaches metal bonding underneath units by stapling onto wood surface as appropriate/li>Must follow all safety policies procedures/ul+
