    The Opportunity:

    Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Director to provide operational management and business development of the Surgical Services Department. This position leads multiple managers while supporting the day-to-day operations of the department.

    Areas of responsibility include:

    • Peri-anesthesia Services
    • Main Operating Rooms
    • Neurosurgery Operating Rooms
    • Endoscopy Department
    • Sterile Processing Department

    This director will work collaboratively with other departments within the hospital to improve the patient experience and outcomes. This is a great opportunity to use quantitative skills and experience to analyze data to drive performance, better workflow optimization, and enhance overall operations of the Surgical Services Department.

    • Develop policies and procedures consistent with clinical best practices.
    • Recommend staffing requirements based on volume, severity of illness and standards for care delivery.

To be successful, you will need to be employee and patient focused while keeping quality and safety in the Operating Rooms a top priority. A strong ability to build relationships with staff, peers, and physicians is essential. We are looking for a mentor who enjoys developing others and helping them achieve their goals.
