LDRP RN - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
3x12-Hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
Job Description
The LDRP RN will float between units as needed, providing care to patients in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum settings. The nurse will be expected to follow AWHONN staffing standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 care for laboring patients and 1:3 care for postpartum patients.
- Conduct triage of obstetrical patients and evaluations of fetal heart patterns.
- Administer medications and manage therapies, including Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin.
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and non-stress tests (NST).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of LDRP experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required.
- Ability to float to other units and facilities based on needs and skill sets.
