- Lead and oversee the credit team and processes, including outsourced functions.
- Manage the accounts receivable portfolio, identify risks, establish mitigation plans, and approve write-offs.
- Collaborate with third-party providers to ensure service levels are maintained.
- Support key account management, including conducting on-site visits.
- Address queries and proactively implement solutions for underlying issues.
- Assist in developing accurate cash flow forecasts and enhancing the customer experience.
- Generate management reports and engage with credit insurers when needed.
- Establish company-wide credit policies and promote best practices.
- Analyze market trends and suggest adjustments to credit policies accordingly.
- Keep the management updated on accounts receivable status and department expenses.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of operational credit management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in credit management.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
- Proficiency in construction credit, mechanic liens, and/or bonds.
- Expertise in sales tax exemption certificates and audits.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret 10Q and 10K reports.
