    As the newest member of our team, your main responsibilities will revolve around purchasing essential supplies and materials for the company. You will need to stay updated on market trends, pricing, potential suppliers, and delivery conditions to forecast future material availability accurately. This role involves the development and maintenance of our inventory database and streamlining the purchasing process. You will be working full-time from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with a starting salary based on your experience.

    Main Tasks:

    • Oversee day-to-day purchasing operations, manage current warehouse inventory, and create a purchasing strategy.
    • Prepare precise and timely purchase orders.
    • Keep track of inventory levels and generate weekly reports.
    • Receive, monitor, and organize warehouse stock.
    • Collaborate closely with sales and scheduling teams.
    • Prioritize communication with suppliers regarding purchase orders and inventory forecasting.
    • Identify unexpected inventory fluctuations and offer proactive suggestions to the sales department.
    • Recommend solutions to enhance inventory management processes and handle backorders efficiently.
    • Find the best prices available in the market.
    • Oversee and monitor the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.
    • Implement top-notch practices for inventory control, accuracy, and record-keeping to reduce errors.

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 years of experience in purchasing and/or inventory management.
    • Knowledge of Quickbooks is beneficial.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Highly organized and process-driven individual.
    • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
    • Physically fit to unpack and arrange boxes for installation purposes.
    • A strong team player with a proactive approach.
    • Successful completion of state and federal background checks and drug screenings.
