- Perform all Project Engineer responsibilities (refer to position description)
- Review project documents and requirements to ensure compliance with agreements, regulations, and customer/engineer specifications
- Develop and manage the HV project budget
- Create subcontractor scopes of work and support subcontracting efforts
- Manage HV subcontractors, including billings, RFIs, status reports, and risk management
- Participate in project meetings, coordination meetings, and material procurement reviews
- Maintain construction schedules, conduct scope reviews, and manage change requests
- Coordinate PV energization support and final project completion punchlist
- Demonstrate and promote a safe work environment, adhering to electrical safety protocols
- Maintain availability for 24/7 operations and travel as required (local and interstate)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in power substation design and/or construction
- Licensed Professional Engineer, PMP certification, or industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA 70e and safety training related to electrical equipment construction and operation
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks effectively
