    Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

    Description:

    Nursing Responsibilities

    The primary responsibility of this role is to provide safe and competent nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal outcomes.

    The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records, communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Current Texas RN license
    • BLS certification
    • ACLS certification preferred
    • PALS certification preferred
    • Certification in Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia Nursing or Gastroenterology Nursing a plus
    • At least 2 years of experience in a peri-anesthesia or gastroenterology setting
    • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software

    Working Environment

    This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to blood-borne pathogens and other infectious materials. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
