    Summary:

    Built in 2018, with 62 cabin rooms, a cottage home and a 26,000 sq ft training facility. The Clayton Lodge and Retreat, is designed for Clayton Homes team members to Explore, Focus, and Grow. Incorporating Claytons core values we're looking for someone who has experience in hospitality and an innate desire to create World Class experiences. As the property continues to expand, this role will also be responsible for delivering operational excellence through supporting the evolution of our culinary program as well other facets of the facility.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Provides overall leadership, guidance, and strategic direction for the Clayton Lodge.
    • Build and lead a cohesive team with unified goals to exceed guest experience and achieve company brand and service standards.
    • Manage the team member development process for leadership teams; continually coaching and developing direct reports to improve performance and review all personnel decisions.
    • Promote effective communication across diverse departments through staff meetings, departmental meetings, and fostering a collaborative and informed environment.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans and budgets, overseeing all facets of property operations, including Guest Services, Food & Beverage, Facilities, and Events.
    • Monitor and report monthly on all Key Result Areas and provide the analysis to support the corrective actions to close operational gaps to meet operating objectives.
    • Implement and manage internal training and monitoring processes to ensure guest experience scores (NPS) and World Class operations.
    • Oversee capitol project improvements and renovations on property.
    • Ensures all guest-related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the Company's goals and objectives.
    • Maintain a visible and professional presence to embody the spirit of hospitality at all times.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Management, Project Management, or relevant field.
    • Minimum 6-8 years' relevant experience which should include 2+ years' experience in project management, 3+ years' experience in property or resort management, and 3+ years' experience in food & beverage services.
    • Must be skilled in leading and developing large teams
    • Experience with Opera PMS, Monscierges, Concur, Oracle, and Dormakaba strongly preferred.
    • Must have an immaculate attention to detail and strong customer service background.
    • Must be results-driven and team-oriented.
    • Passion for guest experience and ability to develop enthusiastic teams are required.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
