    was founded in 1968 and has grown into one of the largest dermatology practices in the Midwest, providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care to meet the needs of our patients.

    We have ten board certified physicians and nine allied health professionals. We have expanded to several locations throughout Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. We are looking for a qualified individual to join our team.

    The Medical Front Office Receptionist will work with the Front Office Manager to deliver elevated customer service at assigned location(s), maintain efficient office workflow, and complete insurance processing at the front desk.

    Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet patients in a friendly, inviting manner
    • You are the face of the practiceVerify demographic information and insurance documents at each visitCollect insurance cards, co pays, balances, cosmetic charges, HIPAA forms, insurance waivers, and medical history forms as neededSchedule appointments as directed by provider(s) and staffPost any monies collected to correct patients encounter or accountAccurately balance and post batch dailyScan documents daily: HIPPA forms, Financial Policy forms, Medical Release forms, Invoices, etc.

    Demonstrate understanding of front office job requirements by following the established workflow with no deviationDemonstrate strong customer service and professionalism whether in person, on the phone, or through social mediaMaintain accurate petty cash fundContact patients for schedule rebuilds when directed by provider or Front Office ManagerLight cleaning of patient waiting room, toys, office, etc.

    Help maintain breakroom/ refrigerator cleanlinessComplete projects as assigned by the Front Office ManagerDuties and responsibilities may change, and new ones may be added at any time with or without advanced notice.

    Requirements A High-school or higher graduateDependable, honest, dedicated and compassionateStrongly detail-oriented and highly organizedAble to analyze situations and respond appropriatelyAccountable for own actions and acceptive of constructive criticismPleasant and positive when dealing with patients, other staff, providers, etc.

    Working in a fast-pace medical officeElevating customer service while maintaining efficiencyMedical office scheduling software, EMA experience is a plusInsurance verification, including Medicare and MedicaidInsurance claims process Be Available to: Work a Full-time plus position with weekly OT; hours are generally 6:30a-4:30p Monday - Friday; times will change based on daily provider scheduleWork at assigned Indianapolis-area location: FishersProvide rare coverage at other offices to assist with staffing needs
