    Description

    Join our team at United Rentals! We are currently looking for an Equipment Operator in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky.

    As an Equipment Operator – Matting Solutions, your main responsibility will be to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, regardless of the weather conditions. Matting Solutions is now part of United Rentals and is a leading provider of right-of-way access solutions in North America, offering expertise in total access planning for various projects.

    What you'll do:

    • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment
    • Participate in routine maintenance tasks
    • Effectively communicate with site personnel
    • Operate heavy equipment safely
    • Maintain logs of equipment usage
    • Understand ground signals and maintain eye contact with ground personnel
    • Other assigned duties

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma
    • Valid driver's license
    • 0-1 year experience operating heavy equipment
    • Ability to work independently
    • Knowledge of construction safety hazards
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Willingness to travel and work overtime
