    Based in California, our client is pioneering advancements in aerospace engineering and seeks a Senior GNC Engineer to join their innovative team.


    About the Role:

    As a Senior GNC Engineer, you'll spearhead the development of our client's guidance, navigation, and control system, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of space technology.

    From spacecraft concept and algorithm development to flight software implementation and testing, you'll lead projects from conception to completion with precision and expertise.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead the development and optimization of the guidance, navigation, and control system.
    Drive spacecraft concept and algorithm development, flight software implementation, and subsystem requirements development.
    Design and test detailed GNC systems, ensuring robustness and reliability.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GNC solutions seamlessly into spacecraft design.
    Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies to inform system enhancements.


    Requirements:


    Master's or PhD degree in aerospace engineering or a related field.5+ years of experience in aerospace projects, with a focus on guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems.

    Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail.


    Nice to Have:
    Knowledge of control systems, orbital mechanics, and modeling and simulation techniques.
    Experience developing flight code for space or satellite applications.
    Previous experience in a startup or agile development environment.


    Salary Range:
    $150,000 - $200,000#J-18808-Ljbffr
