Technical Architect III (100% remote)

Primary Location: 100% remote

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a

Technical Architect III (100% remote)

for our premier client.

Education and Experience "Top Required Skills & Years of Experience: (minimum 3-5 years):

RACF experience and expertise.
RACF Certificate creation and management.
RACF User administration.
RACF Access attestation report.

Nice to Have Skills:
Provide security infrastructure consulting support.
Participate in complex IT projects to implement and maintain enterprise security infrastructure and agency specific business mainframe application systems.
Provide advanced technical security support for enterprise mainframe infrastructure systems including hardware, software, and services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities "

Knowledge of and ability to perform technology and product research, testing, installation, customization, troubleshooting, and support.
Advanced knowledge of mainframe infrastructure hardware and software plus knowledge of infrastructure operations and design.
Advanced knowledge of mainframe management software concepts.
Knowledge of mainframe operating system (zOS and zVM) and tools.
Knowledge of and ability to apply IT service-delivery management best practices and procedures.
Advanced knowledge of mainframe disaster recovery techniques.
Understanding of mainframe concepts and tools.
Resourceful in identifying and obtaining technical information sources needed to perfo1m duties effectively.
Ability to deliver quality service and maintain positive working relationships with customers.

Ability to function as a team member, including the open sharing of information and willingness to provide assistance where needed.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to both technical peers and less technical customers in person and via written media such as email, reports, and project charters.

Ability to learn quickly; synthesize complex information, identify key points and communicate results accurately m1d effectively.
Ability to provide advanced-level infrastructure consulting to customers and other mainframe technicians.
Ability to deliver high quality customer service at all times.
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment to meet the expected levels of infrastructure service.
Ability to have good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues, customers, and vendors.
Ability to follow IT service management best practices to ensure the quality of services delivered to partners.
Ability to mentor and develop staff in the above skills.
