    Overview

    M Health Fairview is hiring a Nutrition Services Aide to join the team at the Southdale location in Edina, MN. This role involves preparing food portions, assembling patient trays, and ensuring safe delivery. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where customer service and food skills are key. As part of the nutrition services team, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients, guests, and staff. This position offers the opportunity to interact directly with patients and colleagues and be part of a dedicated team of employees.

    Location: Southdale Hospital, Edina, MN

    Hours: 48 hours bi-weekly

    Schedule: Day shift with every other weekend commitment

    Schedule: Week 1: Tue: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Fri: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Week 2: Mon: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Tue: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Sat: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Sun: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

    Responsibilities Job Description

    • Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated area.
    • Delivers patient meal trays while adhering to HIPAA policy.
    • Plates and serves food.
    • Handles and stores food following HACCP procedures.
    • Sanitizes equipment and work area as per schedules.
    • Washes and sanitizes dishes and utensils.
    • Serves customers in various locations.
    • Provides care or service while considering differences in cultural backgrounds.
    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Clear communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
    • Basic math proficiency.

    Preferred Education:

    • High school diploma/G.E.D.

    Desired Skills:

    • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in English language.
    • Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
