Your Challenge Software architecture for new embedded systems per customer specificationsPlan design develop and test new software or complex enhancements to existing software for embedded systems based on specifications in compliance to industrial military and aerospace standardsImplement integrate or debug embedded software C / C++)Support closely collaborate with systems engineering hardware development teamsResolve customer complaints with software respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancementsAssist in the development of software user manuals software design test documentationDevelopment tools CM Subversion GIT IDEs Visual Studio Eclipse-based command line gnu DOORS JIRA MS Office
Qualifications
BS Degree in Electrical Software Computer EngineeringAt least 10 years related experience6+ years experience developing software systems4+ years experience lead experienceProficient requirements management IBM Rational DOORSFamiliarity Linux device drivers application developmentFamiliarity virtualization concepts LynxOS Hypervisor preferredProficiency Wind River Linux/Red Hat Lynx OS build environment desirableRealtime safety critical development desirableFull lifecycle development accordance DO-178C CMMIFundamental understanding regression testing verificationScripting languages e.g bashPython programming experience desirableStrong communication collaboration skills proficiency MS officeBenefits
