Job Description:

Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a skilled 1st Shift Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of high-level mechanical and electrical construction of subassemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to follow written manufacturing instructions and have knowledge of designs/drawings/diagrams.


• Must be able to use hand tools and operator shop tools.


• Skilled in computer programs/software specific to the manufacturing process, tracking and traceability of product.


• Understands processes and work instructions and able to document processes.


• Able to submit changes to processes/prints and work with engineering on production processes.


• May include other duties as assigned and/or special projects.

Requirements:

• Requires visual ability to resolve fine detail and manual dexterity.


• Must be available for overtime work.


• Must be able to stand for periods up to 4 hours.


• Minimum of two (2) years related experience.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Strong reading, writing, and math skills.


• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.


• Solder skills are preferable but not required.


• Experience in cable assembly (cutting, labeling, crimping).

Additional Information:

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $17/hr. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive compensation package.
