    Status: Accepting Candidates

    Job Type: Full-time, 32 hours per week

    Schedule: Monday to Friday

    Duration: ASAP - June 10, 2024

    Description:

    The Dudley-Charlton Regional School District is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The position involves working 32 hours a week with an emphasis on addressing intensive needs at the elementary level.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide speech and language support to students with diverse needs.
    • Focus on straight articulation and munication development for non-verbal students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
    • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to implement effective speech and language interventions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
    • SLPA certification.
    • Experience working with elementary-level students, particularly those with intensive needs.
    • Knowledge of straight articulation techniques and strategies for non-verbal ASD students.
    • Strong munication and collaboration skills.
