    Job Summary (Primary function)

    IT Systems Analyst/Project Manager will be responsible to steer technology projects, oversee vendor partnerships, and provide specialized operational support for our key technological platforms used in our Biostatistics function. This role will partner with other internal IT teams, external vendors and the key business users to understand business needs, translate those needs into actionable system implementation initiatives and finally implement them following good project management and system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.

    Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

    Provide comprehensive operational support for the existing SAS Grid Platform, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.

    Manage the implementation process for SAS LSAF and RStudio Products, from project planning to execution and support.

    Act as the primary point of contact with technology vendors, overseeing the management of these platforms and ensuring service levels are met.

    Collaborate with internal and external support staff to maintain agreed-upon service levels, facilitating effective partnerships for operational excellence.

    Work closely with the Biostatistics team to align technology solutions with departmental needs and objectives.

    Oversee project timelines, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring projects meet their goals within the defined scope.

    Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

    Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

    7-10 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals industry with hands-on IT systems implementation, support and maintenance skills.

    Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field.

    Experience in project management in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry.

    Must be familiar with Biostats relevant software landscape - previous experience with SAS analytical platforms, RStudio, and R platforms is required.

    Experience with service delivery management using tools like ServiceNow.

    Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and/or Azure, and their related infrastructure, environments, and services.

    Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.

    Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Technical Skills:

    Knowledge of cloud computing and infrastructure management, with a focus on AWS and Azure platforms.

    Proficiency in implementing, managing, and supporting SAS-based analytics platforms.

    Familiarity with statistical tools such as East, R, and RStudio, which is considered a valuable asset.

    Experience with ServiceNow for incident, request, and change management within technical environments.

    Capability to manage the technical aspects of biostatistics and analytics projects, including service delivery and vendor interactions.

    Proficiency in coordinating IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and achieving successful outcomes.

    Strong problem-solving skills, complemented by experience in analytical planning and strategy.

    Excellent communication and teamwork skills, particularly in cross-cultural collaborative settings.
