We are seeking a General/Adult Psychiatrist to fill a locum tenens opportunity in the corrections environment. This role will involve working 15 to 32 hours per week at two locations in the Omaha area.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a squeaky-clean background and hold a valid Nebraska Medical License. Additionally, they must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.

Forensic experience is highly desirable, although not required. We encourage applications from qualified psychiatrists who are passionate about providing high-quality care in this unique setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing psychiatric services to patients in the corrections environment
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
• Conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions
• Prescribing medication as needed and monitoring patient response

Requirements:

• Valid Nebraska Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Squeaky-clean background

Estimated Salary:

$150,000 - $200,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
