    Seneca High School is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a licensed technical assistant (LTA) or media clerk in the school's media center. The ideal candidate will be a team player, who welcomes student activity, possessing outstanding character with strong interpersonal, organizational, and technological skills. The hours of the position are flexible based upon the school day and the ideal candidate. Salary and benefits are per negotiated agreement, which can be found at The minimum starting wage, based upon experience and education, will be $16.16 per hour, with Board of Education paid single health insurance premiums. With advanced licensure, education, and experience, the salary has varying increased levels, which is based upon the support staff collective bargaining agreement.

    The LTA or media clerk assists with maintaining the proper functioning of the media center. Responsiiblities include, but are not limited to:
    1. Works on various projects and procedures in order to maintain the proper functioning of the Media Recourse Center.
    2. Co-ordinates with Media Specialist to accomplish assigned tasks.
    3. Catalog media supplies and reference materials.
    4. Process all check-outs of media supplies and provides proper notice of past-due resources.
    5. Assist students, teachers, and staff in media research and materials during the hours of operation of the media center.
    6. Maintain a welcoming environment for students and staff
    7. Abide by the Risk Management Plan as established by the Board of Education.
    8. Maintain proper confidentiality and conduct guidelines in regards to students, faculty, and staff of the District.
    9. Other duties as assigned by Assistant Principal.
    10. Works on scheduling Media Center usage for teachers and activities with faculty and the Assistant Principal or Activities Director.
