    Field Service Engineer at Insight Global, LLC in Meridian, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description A leading Semiconductor Manufacturing client is hiring for a Field Service Engineer, local to the Boise, ID area.

    This candidate will be responsible for installing equipment, preventative maintenance, malfunction troubleshooting, along with various services and repairs on customer sites.

    Further responsibilities include contributing in R&D of new equipment, instrumentations, and software systems; as well as analyze steps and root causes of both internal teams and customers.

    Additional responsibilities include training customer's personnel in servicing, maintenance, and operations of equipment.

Skills and Requirements 2+ years hands on Mechanical experience in HVAC, Automotive, Semiconductor, or similar industries. 2+ years' experience interpreting, reading, and/or designing CAD drawings or electrical diagrams. 2+ years' experience with electro/mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. Experience working with lab and/or lab instruments (multi-meters, oscilloscopes) Knowledge in MS Office and familiar working with data.

    5-10% travel required Knowledge of semiconductor processes, lasers, or optics fundamentals Knowledge of semiconductor industrial engineering and/or operations Strong Presentation skills null
