Job Description Summary:

The purpose of this position is to manage the capital and non-capital assets under the Property Accounting area of the College, including supervising departmental annual inventory control reports as required for audits, and managing the Property Accounting database which includes the records for each of the College's capital assets.

This is accomplished by monitoring client's equipment ownership, substantiating accuracy of records, and meeting customers' special requests.

Other duties include initiating all documentation for all vehicles covering titles, licenses, auction, and disposal purchased or donated to the College.

Tracking vehicle registration/maintenance. Monitoring firearm buys including reminders to warehouse personnel to follow secure transport procedures.

Screening daily purchase orders for any federal surplus inventory equipment and/or supply buys to ensure strict adherence to disposal policy.

Provides support to various staff, departments and external auditors and insurance representatives as requested. Process college physical assets donations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree and three (3) years related experience.
OR
Five (5) years related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a higher education setting.

Experience with web checkout or inventory management software.
