    Job Description

    Fayette County Public Schools is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join the Level 5 school system. The ideal candidate will be part of a professional organization committed to student success. Responsibilities for this role include:

    • Preparing lessons aligned with state standards
    • Collaborating with faculty
    • Conducting small group instruction
    • Differentiating instruction and providing interventions
    • Working with administrators and coaches to enhance performance
    • Monitoring student progress
    • Collaborating with parents and stakeholders

    Other duties involve developing assessments, teaching students based on their IEPs, and conducting IEP meetings. An active TN teaching license with suitable endorsements for an Elementary School Self-Contained classroom is necessary for this Special Education position.
