Position: Business Analyst

TekWissen Group is a major player in the workforce management field across the USA and various other countries worldwide. Our client is a top-notch manufacturer specialized in electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. They have two core segments: Electronic Instruments and Electromechanical. The Electronic Instruments division focuses on crafting cutting-edge analytical, test, and measurement tools for sectors like energy, aerospace, power, research, medical, and industrial applications. On the other hand, the Electromechanical segment delivers automation solutions, precise motion control systems, electrical connections, premium metals, and thermal management solutions.

Business Analyst Overview:

Experienced and hands-on lean/six sigma professional needed
Responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
Report directly to the Director of Operations
Analyze, develop, track cost reductions, and enhance working capital efficiencies
Drive Visual Management implementation and Kaizen events
Enable a culture of lean practices throughout the US Business Unit
Collaborate closely with peers and their teams to strategize Continuous Improvement efforts

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and achieve business goals related to Operational Excellence
Assist in working capital goal setting, budgeting, and leading improvement activities
Implement and maintain visual management for driving change in cost and efficiency
Train team members in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Establish targets, timetables, policies, and key metrics for current and upcoming projects
Participate in business strategy development and execution
Presentation of plans supporting long-range objectives and budget establishment

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline preferred
Master's Degree in Operations/Industrial Management or Lean Operations a plus
2-5 years of previous experience in a similar role

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline
Master's degree in Operations/Industrial Management preferred
Master or Six Sigma Blackbelt certification preferred

Current Projects Overview:

Managing two automation projects within the product line
Coordinating with consultants for robot installations and programming
Ensuring CNC machine and electrical setups are optimized for operations
Facilitating smooth transition of welding station to a new area
Workspace includes a mix of desk and production floor involvement

Must-Have Skills:

Proficient in Project Management

Nice-to-Have:

Prefer candidates with CI or engineering background for automation projects
Expertise in machine operations for efficiency improvements
Focus on project timelines and operational efficiency
