    Your Role at Raising Cane's:


    The NYC Fair Workweek Compliance Specialist provides day to day field support to the restaurant operations teams regarding Fair Workweek (FWW) Compliance and other employment-related topics in select restaurant(s).

    This position supports hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, progressive discipline, separations, and other compliance-related tasks.


    Your Impact and Responsibilities:

    • Completes daily and weekly routines to monitor and report on compliance including, but not limited to validation of daily task completion, administration of attendance tracking, and premium data
    • Supports hiring for restaurants by developing and providing oversight for managers in following a specified process for onboarding and scheduling new crewmembers in scheduling software (Harri)
    • Reviews schedule warnings, outstanding payroll tasks, and other tasks to provide an update on restaurants' state of readiness in meeting company standards
    • Verifies the schedules have been published within company standards
    • Manages permanent schedule availability changes and shift pick-up requests in Harri
    • Oversees compliance requirements for printing and posting published schedules and available shifts
    • Supports restaurant managers with FWW warnings decisions and provides routine updates from the premiums report
    • Reviews timesheets in Harri for crewmember protests and follows up accordingly to resolve any discrepancies
    • Supports restaurant managers with reviewing the pay data sheet in Harri and resolving errors, prior to payroll closing
    • Applies the Progressive Discipline Policy and manages attendance disciplinary tracking in the employee management software (Workday)
    • Manages documentation and process for permanent shifts in Harri for crew separations
    • Collaborates on all cross-functional updates that impact policies and procedures, training, systems, and communications
    • Conducts routine audits, follows up on action items, and facilitates in-person training sessions for restaurant managers
    • Ensures crew aren't hired prior to offering to all internal crew
    • Completes other tasks and projects as needed in support of compliance priorities

    Requirements for Success:

    • 3 years of experience in HR, legal, compliance, or related field in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry
    • Ability to travel daily to restaurants with Fair Work Week requirements
    • Able to handle highly confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
    • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
    • Microsoft Proficient:
    Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

    • Experience with Harri and Workday, preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
    _The annual base salary for this position is between $82,000 - $90,000. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and restaurant location.
