About the position

As a Heat Treat Technician, you will be responsible for the operation of heat-treating equipment used to process precision knife components.

This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and durability of our products.

While prior experience in heat treatment is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a keen interest in learning specialized skills.

What You'll be Doing

• Operate and maintain heat treatment furnaces and other related equipment.
• Monitor the heattreating process to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in the development of heat treatment schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of processes, tests, and results.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices.

What you need to win

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
• Strong work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn complex processes.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
