    Job Title

    Maintenance Technician

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Horizon.

    Your day will be filled with variety and purpose as you work in a supportive, team-based environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, floor covering, painting, and seasonal needs.
    • Troubleshoot building systems to proactively maintain building operations.
    • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
    • Complete all necessary paperwork.
    • Take direction from the Property Manager on issues concerning property management and maintenance.
    • Manage productivity and daily job responsibilities.
    • Perform cleaning, repairing, maintaining, constructing, renovating, demolishing, and moving building systems as needed.
    • Ensure building compliance with all regulations.
    • Perform universal precautions and use personal protective equipment, following OSHA, DOH, and building regulations.
    • Conduct regulatory building audits, inspections, maintain reports, and tracking systems to provide a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff.
    • Manage a preventative maintenance program for building systems.
    • Provide oversight of exterior property conditions.

    Requirements

    • Previous maintenance experience required.
    • Clean, valid NYS driver's license, three years of driving experience, and reliable transportation.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    Compensation

    The estimated salary range for this position is $18.60-$20.00 per hour, based on experience and education. Starting pay may be adjusted annually.
