    Basic QualificationsBachelor of Science in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related field or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience


    Agile experience preferredCLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
    Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations core defense/intelligence services and systems.

    5+ years professional experience in software engineering and product developmentDemonstrated experience with embedded and real-time hardware environmentsSoftware development in C/C++, OOP/OODUnderstanding of embedded bus structures, processing, and I/O and memory chipsetsExperience working with both DOD SW development standards and Agile Engineering practicesCross functional collaboration and Product DevelopmentCustomer focus with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)Deep-dive analytical skillsAbility to think creativelyAbility to quickly synthesize and clearly report relevant informationStrong problem-solving skills to identify issues, impacts, and corrective actionsStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and testing toolsFamiliarity with quality standards for industry and government


    REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
    Perform embedded and real-time software designSupport the dev ops team through the development of automated unit tests to be included in the CI/CD environmentDevelop detailed plans with resource schedules and guide product development to delight customersDefine software architectureDefine/Capture project software development requirementsFollow the companys engineering and quality processes (Agile experience preferred)Develop software for embedded applicationsObject-oriented principles are preferredEstimate project software development effort and deliver on-timeReport progress using data and metricsActively find ways to innovate
