    Duties and Responsibilities
    As the Lead Clinician for Child and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) at Fair Haven Community Health Care, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical aspects of the child-centered IOP services. In this position, you will manage the daily clinical operations and staff of assigned IOP clinicians, collaborate with other clinical leaders at FHCHC to ensure seamless integration with additional clinical services, and establish connections with external partners to expand awareness and access to IOP programs. Your responsibilities will also involve managing the flow of children and adolescents into and out of IOP care.
    • Provide group and individual therapy in both IOP and OP settings
    • Oversee admissions and discharges into services, ensuring proper documentation
    • Manage staff schedules for optimal utilization and clinical coverage
    • Conduct chart audits for quality improvement
    • Assist in program development and policy revision
    • Integrate IOP programs with other service offerings
    • Provide on-call support for crisis services
    • Supervise and mentor clinical team members
    • Participate in staff hiring and educational initiatives
    • Attend training sessions for professional development
    • Evaluate program performance and implement improvements
    • Collaborate within the treatment team and across departments
    • Adhere to productivity standards and attend community outreach events
    • Utilize own vehicle for company-related purposes if needed
    • Complete tasks as requested and evaluate clinical staff
    Qualifications
    Applicants should hold a Master's Degree in a health or human services field, possess five years of experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse environment, and ideally have at least one year of supervisory experience. Proficiency in computer applications and familiarity with electronic health records are essential. Additionally, candidates must hold current Connecticut professional licensure in LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psy.D., or Ph.D. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
