    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Talent Acquisition - Recruiter represents our employer brand to potential talent, creating a great candidate experience. This role owns and executes the talent strategy for the company by managing the full lifecycle recruitment process for most positions throughout the company. The Talent Acquisition - Recruiter will proactively source and recruit the best talent to fill a number of positions to support our fast-growing business.

    WORK LOCATION:

    This standard office role is based out of our Fairview Heights, Illinois headquarters. It has an on-site presence and the opportunity to network in the community and other locations as necessary.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the full cycle of the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and internal groups in the development and execution of the company's recruitment strategy, including candidate outreach, employee review campaigns, and social media content specific to recruitment and employer presence.
    • Establish and share reports on workforce analysis through ATS to monitor recruitment results.
    • Partner with the HR Director and leaders to identify and fulfill current and future headcount/staffing needs.
    • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
    • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
    • Support all stages of the interview process with hiring managers as needed, prepare offer letters, and complete some of the pre-boarding process for all new hires.
    • Fill open positions in a timely manner and meet the company goals associated with the level of position.
    • Assist in the development of job descriptions for new positions.
    • Accurately maintain the ATS system, inclusive of updating job postings, managing postings, processes, candidates, and correspondence
    • Coordinate using the position control report to check in with leadership and the executive team about when to start recruitment cycles.
    • Communicate with hiring managers weekly about the status of each hire.
    • In collaboration with other departments, assist in leading efforts for external institution recruiting, including career fairs, recruitment events, and identification of candidates.
    • Champion inclusion and diversity in the recruitment process.

    SKILLS and ABILITIES

    • Proven experience in full lifecycle recruiting; must have experience in managing multiple recruitment cycles at once
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing recruitment plans and strategies for a variety of exempt and non-exempt roles
    • Experience using ATS, job boards, and social media; experience using Workday's recruitment platform is preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience executing talent strategy, including promotion and succession planning, employer branding, and long-term talent planning
    • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
    • Team-oriented and collaborative
    • Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills are a must
    • Must be comfortable working in ambiguity and being flexible; experience in a high-growth organization is highly preferred
    • Occasional off-hours availability for candidates and managers
    • Travel to various business locations as needed

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of at least five years.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
    • Must possess and maintain proof of automobile insurance

    CARE & TCI

    One of the essential job functions of any position within the agency is to align your performance with our overarching philosophy of CARE. All decisions, actions, communication, and performance should align with the six CARE principles (Developmentally Focused, Family Involved, Relationship Based, Ecologically Oriented, Competence Centered, and Trauma Informed). Not only must you complete the CARE training with satisfactory participation, but you must then put that training into practice in your everyday work.

    Every employee must also pass TCI training with a satisfactory grade in written and/or physical testing. All employees must remain current on refresher training that is provided monthly at all locations. You will be tested every six months on the physical portion, if applicable to your position. You will be tested annually on the written portion, regardless of your position. If you are not current on your TCI refresher training every six months, you will be required to retake the full course. If you do not pass either test, you may be required to retake the full course. Not only must you complete the TCI training with satisfactory participation, but you must then put that training into practice in your everyday work.
