    Schedule

    4x10.0 - Sun & Mon 11am to 11:30pm, Tue & Wed 3pm to 11:30pm (40 hours weekly), including on-call and holidays as needed.

    Job Description

    As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in confirming patient identity and exam verification before initiating scans, adhering strictly to departmental policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.

    You will collaborate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures to help ensure their comfort.

    Responsibilities

    Insert IVs when necessary for the test and position patients appropriately.

    Lift or move patients with limited mobility, utilizing safe patient handling techniques.


    Maintain accurate patient records by documenting all necessary components in EPIC, ensuring images are identified and correctly sent to the PACS system upon exam completion.

    Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.

    Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

    New York State licensure (must be obtained prior to starting the position).

    At least two (2) years of Level 1 Trauma Center experience.

    BLS certification (American Heart Association only).

    Experience with Siemens and Philips equipment is preferred.
