    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in an imaging department, requiring a minimum of 1 year of cardiac sonography experience and a compact or ME license.

    Responsibilities
    Imaging department setting at an acute care hospital in Maine
    40 hours per week on a variable shift schedule
    Manager interviews are conducted for this position
    Flu vaccination is required for clearance to start
    Medical exemptions only are accepted for the flu vaccine requirement and must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance for committee review
    All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
    First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded — contact your recruiter for eligibility details

    Requirements
    Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
    Compact or ME license required (license required if applicable)
    BLS certification required
    2 professional references within the past year required, with at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge nurse — peer references are not accepted
    Full SSN, Driver's License, and copies of all certifications required for consideration
    Candidates must have a permanent address 100+ miles South/SW of the facility
    Candidates must not have previously worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity
