    Description

    Your responsibilities

    Receives the monthly material requirements from the Supply Planner, as well as ad hoc requirements throughout the month.
    Converts these requirements into Purchase Orders and transmits these to our internal suppliers.
    Follows up on all open purchase orders to ensure confirmation.
    Verifies that delivery date, quantity, pricing, and shipping details are accurate and up to date within the SAP environment.

    Upon shipment, verify all required documentation is received and accessible for the required key users- including warehouses, customs brokers, sales administration, and quality teams.

    Interact with freight, customs, and warehouse providers to resolve any issues that may occur while our containerized goods are in transit.

    Ensure delivery dates shown for all open PO are accurate to nearly real-time within the BENEO SAP system
    Process goods receipts in SAP after confirmation of delivery is received by our local warehouse providers.

    Report any logistics delays or potential issues to the Supply Chain and Sales Administration teams, and take steps to mitigate or resolve the impact of such issues when possible.

    Procurement of logistics services- assist supply chain manager with ongoing process of tracking and optimizing our transportation budget.
    Includes auditing of vendor invoices, ongoing cost tracking, preparation of annual RFP, and creating supplier scorecards to evaluate performance.

    Contribute to the monthly regional and global S&OP process, specifically in regards to any topics pertaining to the procurement and inbound logistics.

    Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with counterparts at our global supply sites.

    Encourage teamwork and a customer-first approach that ensures we get the materials and information needed to exceed the expectations of our regional customers within the food industry.

    Maintain collaborative relationship with strategic 3rd party vendors to ensure BENEO requirements are met for quality, transparency, and accuracy.

    Improvement mindset- actively contribute to process improvement projects that optimize our workflows and enhance the use of our current and future business tools.

    Your Profile

    Thinking Level and/or Experience required for the role:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    Detail oriented mindset
    Critical thinking, independent decision making
    Minimum 1-3 years of related experience

    Technical Skills (including language(s)) required for the role:
    SAP or similar ERP system- ideally within purchasing / material planning environment
    Strong communication, verbal & written, including with international stakeholders (English speaking)

    Collaboration Tools:
    MS Teams, Sharepoint, Powerpoint
    Data Analysis via MS Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, et al.
