    MOC AOG Technical Support TEMP Position- At least 90 days of work estimated around May- June 2024 Athena Technology Group, Inc

    Highlights of Responsibilities:

    • 3+ years supporting IT systems in an enterprise level network (5+ years preferred), preferably in a Navy/DoD environment
    • 2+ years of management experience preferred.
    • 2+ years supporting VTC systems in an enterprise-level network, preferably in a Navy/DoD environment.
    • Ability to work independently and interface professionally with others in an office environment, including other government agencies, contractors, and military personnel, including senior DoD and Flag Officers.
    • Facilitate briefs for MOC Directors to other government agencies, Stake holders and senior DoD and Flag Officers.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint).
    • Ability to interact professionally and confidently in supporting all Government personnel to identify issues, root cause and migration, and provide guidance with NMCI help services.
    • All experience requirements listed for the VTC Technician above.
    • Advanced knowledge of computer systems and related cybersecurity software and hardware components including Windows operating systems and a variety of major PC applications (including Microsoft Office) and the Internet required.
    • Experience with Apple operating systems, multimedia systems, and Windows Active Directory networks
    • Knowledge of basic networking principles for installations and troubleshooting
    Public Key Infrastructure and use of Tokens on DoN networks.


    • Ability to coordinate with subordinate command POCs to collect, review and validate changes in IT service requirements and provide assistance and guidance to command Information Systems Security Managers (ISSM) to maintain compliance with required cyber security and information assurance programs.
    • Knowledge of IT security principles, methods, and security products to protect and maintain the availability, integrity, confidentially, accountability of systems.
    • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving.
    • Must be able to walk the long distances of the CNAL spaces within and between buildings.
    • An Associate degree (Bachelor's is preferred) or 2 additional years of experience
    • Must have CompTIA Security+ or any other 8570 IAT-II approved certification.

    Microsoft 365 Certified:
    Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification (within 6 months) US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance are required for the position
