Job DescriptionQualifications:
Possess a master's degree in a human service field (social work, counseling, or psychology preferred) and five years' experience in mental health services, with two years supervisory experience and possess a current professional credential, such as: licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, licensed rehabilitation counselor, licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, licensed psychologist, advanced practice nurse or Master of Science in nursing with the requisite number of years of experience.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Administrative/Clinical Director include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Shall be available in the facility during its normal hours of operation.
· Provides a safe, properly staffed facility
· Develops, implements, supervises and manages the program.
· Has oversight of type and quality of person served services provided within the facility
· Oversees daily program operation and organization
· Develops and reviews all policies and procedures of this agency
· Confirms with Human Resources that all staffing credentials are valid and up to date; restricting treatment privileges when misconduct is suspected or reported
· Ensures that person served right's are protected and that recommendations and/or grievances of persons served and staff are addressed and acted upon in a timely manner
· Evaluates and ensures that each facility is within compliance with all state license requirements and state and Medicaid regulations
· In conjunction with the Executive Director, acts as representative of the agency during all inspections and contacts with state and Medicaid workers
· Responsible for hiring and termination of employees
· Oversees completion of all Quality Assurance standards
· Prepares Unusual Incident Reports (UIRs) to DMH, DMHS
· Completes Performance Appraisals on clinical staff
· Supervises clinicians in client assessment, formulation and implementation and service plans, timely completion of documentation, medication monitoring, etc. Oversee treatment planning processes clinically and functionally and supervise all program documentation.
· Schedules the clinicians based on the most judicious allocation of program resources
· Conducts staff meetings that will include administration issues, program development, staff concerns, and clinical reviews.
· Schedules supervisory meetings and clinical supervision
· Collects and process Quality Assurance Data.
· Heads the Quality Assurance efforts and QA committee; Completes QA duties (statistics, record reviews, etc.)
· Conducts or delegate Intakes of new person served or assigns to qualified staff and assign to clinicians and Comprehensive Assessments.
· Completes SSD and temporary disability (5-S) forms for review with the psychiatrist.
· Signs discharge summaries.
· Provides Crisis Management
· Prepares in-services for staff
· Evaluates staff
· Continues professional growth and development
· Administers and collects client satisfaction surveys.
· Be available for crisis consultation and management and for coordination with outside practitioners.
