- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
- Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
- Operation of forklifts, packaging and labeling of customer orders, and utilization of computer systems to process receipts, put ways, picks, and replenishments.
- Inspect incoming product and verify against shipping manifest for accuracy.
- Elevate inventory discrepancies to inventory control or management for resolution.
- Effectively work with QA organizations to disposition incoming product.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform basic math, read, understand, and make decisions based on written operating procedures.
- Ability to read product labels and picking sheets.
- Forklift certification, or ability to become certified (company provided).
- Ability to communicate discrepancies to warehouse supervisor.
- Must be able to operate rolling pushcart, electric forklift and manual pallet jack
- Frequently exposed to moving equipment such as forklifts and rolling carts.
- Exposed to temperature controls in the warehouse.
- Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions when loading doors are open.
- May frequently work extended hours as required.
- Vision:
- Peripheral Vision-ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point.
- Depth Perception - Three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships.
- Lifting: Ground to Waist Lift (Frequently) Up to 70lbs (handling 1 or 2 cases at a time)
- Pushing/Pulling: Static Pushing and Pulling (Frequently) to initiate pallet movement with pallet jack
- Ambulatory Activity: Standing/Walking (Frequently to Continuously) standing/walking on variable surfaces throughout entire shift in the warehouse.
- Repetitive use of hand/grasping: (Frequently to Continuously) Light to forceful manipulating/grasping of
- product, picking sheets, and daily working tools.
- Repetitive forward bending stand: (Frequently) Up to 32 inches in front of body at floor to 60" heights while placing selected product on rolling carts.
- Forward bending standing: (Occasionally to frequently) Reaching for and organizing products,
- Squatting/Stooping/Kneeling: (Frequently) To as low as ground level while picking/ organizing products at primary locations.
