The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents. The Director of Nursing will be inheriting a 5 star facility with a deficiency free survey. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directs the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with the Federal, State and company standards as well as guidelines and regulations. In the absence of the Administrator, The Director of Nursing will assume the responsibility for the center's operations. This position will conduct the nursing process - assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation - under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure.
