    We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Verification Specialist II to join our team. As a Verification Specialist II, you will be responsible for conducting various verification processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. This role includes overseeing education verifications, drug screens, pre-adverse and adverse actions, and providing outstanding customer service support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all tasks are carried out professionally and focused on helping candidates secure job opportunities.
    • Conduct thorough research to verify candidate information accurately, ensuring a smooth screening process within set timelines.
    • Process background reports following current guidelines and standards, maintaining integrity and confidentiality.
    • Provide timely follow-up on all requests, reports, and escalations, ensuring no task is left unresolved.
    • Use predefined scripts and call paths in the software platform for consistent communication with candidates and colleagues.
    • Maintain an updated understanding of guidelines and regulations relevant to the screening process.
    • Ensure accurate and timely report delivery, meeting or exceeding turnaround times.
    • Communicate tactfully and professionally with candidates and peers, fostering positive relationships.
    • Seek opportunities for process enhancement and maintain a mindset of continuous improvement.
    • Be open to cross-training in other functions, contributing to a flexible team dynamic.
    • Collaborate with team members to exceed customer expectations and provide exceptional service.
    • Participate in mentoring, training, and coaching new team members, supporting their professional development.
    • Track and report results following company guidelines, ensuring transparency and accountability.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in verification processes and compliance, preferably in background screening.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive work environment and communicate effectively.
    • Ability to handle disputes and escalated customer issues with professionalism.
    • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
    • Analytical thinking skills to evaluate and resolve client requests.
    • Effective communication at all levels internally and externally.
    • Team player mindset with effective collaboration skills.
