Summary/Objective
A Human Resources Specialist is responsible for leading a team of 2-3 Human Resources Business Partners across multiple businesses in our portfolio, overseeing all aspects of HR management.
It is critical that this individual can (1) be a source of wisdom for Human Resource Business Partners in the field, (2) assist in building company wide people oriented processes (e.g.
Talent acquisition best practices & documenting onboarding SOPs) & (3) serve as a point of escalation for business operators on all things employee relations.
Essential FunctionsCore HR Services:
Plans, develops and implements the organization's core human resource functions (e.g. Governmental compliance, payroll, benefits administration, 401k, Worker's Compensation, etc.)
Performance Management:
Lead execution of human resource planning models to help streamline a company wide performance management process that works for the local business.
HRIS Effectiveness:
Become a Subject Matter Expert in usage of HRIS and ensure the team can leverage the tool to execute proper compliance and business reporting.
Team Members:
Coach and upskill HRBPs through a comprehensive HR development program to continually enhance HR knowledge base & business service level
Employee Relations Matters:
Maintains knowledge of domestic HR policies, programs, laws and issues and can effectively advise local operators to mitigate legal risk
Manages the budget and other financial measures of the HR department.

This position manages a team of 2-3 HRBPs who each support employees each.
This individual must continue to upskill these HR professionals within their region across Core HR Services, Recruiting and Organizational Development & Performance Management.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required or 5 to 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment -
It is required that the individual selected for this position is located in close proximity to these locations: Florida Panhandle (FL), Nags Head (NC), Knoxville (TN) & Denver (CO)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work -
This is a full-time position, and core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will be necessary frequently.
Travel -
This position requires up to 25% travel.
