    Description

    LOCATIONS AVAILABLE IN ATLANTA, GA, NEW YORK CITY, NY, BOSTON, MA, CENTURY CITY, CA, OR CHICAGO, IL

    This role will provide support to our software developers, architects, and data owners on various data projects, ensuring an efficient and consistent data delivery framework. The ideal candidate will be adept at meeting the diverse data requirements of multiple teams and systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, build, test, and maintain data architectures and pipelines;
    • Ensure that our data structure aligns with business needs;
    • Create customized data models and algorithms for data analysis;
    • Evaluate the accuracy and efficiency of new data sources, identifying opportunities for optimization;
    • Establish processes for data modeling, mining, and production;
    • Utilize various tools and languages to integrate systems;
    • Suggest methods to enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality;
    • Utilize large datasets from internal and external sources to address business requirements;
    • Implement automation through metadata management and modern tools;
    • Recommend data ingestion, preparation, integration, and operationalization techniques;
    • Lead the development of data governance policies;
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement models and monitor results;
    • Create tools to monitor and evaluate model performance and data accuracy.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in designing, building, and managing data pipelines;
    • Expertise in advanced analytics tools like C#, Python, and others;
    • Skilled in SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, and SSAS;
    • Familiarity with NoSQL/Hadoop-oriented databases like MongoDB and Cassandra;
    • Experience with data discovery, analytics, and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI;
    • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles;
    • Experience with Microsoft MDM and MDS;
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions;
    • Effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences;
    • Strong Data Security Awareness;
    • Background in financial and legal industry data is beneficial.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, or related field;
    • Minimum five years of experience in data management disciplines;
    • At least three years collaborating with business stakeholders in data management initiatives;
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously.
