We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team at our facility located in Jonesboro, AR, As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP software, commodity purchasing, and supplier negotiation.

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.
  Qualifications
  • Experience working with ERP software, preferably Epicor
  • Proven track record in commodity purchasing, with a strong understanding of market trends and pricing.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiation, with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
