    Integration and Test Engineer

    Summary:

    Advanced Technology Systems Company in Gilbert, AZ is looking for an experienced Integration and Test Engineer. The Integration and Test Engineer is responsible for all aspects of testing to include design development and implementation of First Article and Production Acceptance Test efforts, ensuring program deliverables are tested successfully, creation and execution of test plans, and troubleshooting any failures. The Integration and Test Engineer will report directly to the Engineer Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all aspects of testing including; requirements reviews, generation of test plans and procedures, conduct of test readiness reviews, test execution from subsystems to fully integrated systems, and final documentation through test reports
    • Lead the scheduling, coordination, execution, and reporting of all assigned program testing.
    • Provide specialized technical advice and information to systems and software engineering.
    • Apply test methodologies and best practices throughout the product life cycle to help ensure that the developed product aligns with the customer requirements.
    • Interface with key partners, customers, and end-users in developing program testing requirements.
    • Provide extensive technical advice to resolve difficult test and integration implementation problems.
    • Organize the development and approval of engineering test requirements and specifications.
    • Identification of equipment and tooling required to support system testing.
    • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing test engineering activities in a large multi system/subsystem environment.
    • Experience with advanced testing methodologies, techniques, and tools
    • Experience with several types of instrumentation
    • Experience with integration (power and data) of networked instruments
    • Basic understanding of networking, and equipment troubleshooting.
    • Deep understanding of requirements-based Verification and Validation testing
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to help define tasks, accomplish goals, improve processes, promote quality, and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Must have strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
    • Self-driven, quick learner, analytical and problem solver
    • Detail oriented with strong follow through and organizational skills.
    • Able to multi-task and to accept and adapt to change quickly.
    • Able to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment

    • Ability to travel domestic/Int'l 25%
    • Work may be performed outside in hot and cold desert environments or inclement weather conditions.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, kneel, demonstrate manual dexterity, talk, hear, and see (must be able to stand for long periods of time).
    • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds during the course of the workday.
    • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work; including hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and other protective equipment as required.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
    • U.S. Citizenship is required
