Description

Are you a skilled Machinist looking for a dynamic work environment where your expertise is valued? We are seeking an experienced Machinist to set up and operate machining tools, ensuring the production of high-quality precision parts and instruments. Pay: $30-40 per hour, based on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Machinist.
Proficiency in using machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Ability to use measuring tools including scales, micrometers, and calipers.
Knowledge of metal properties and material characteristics.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

salary: $62,400 - $83,200 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and precision instruments.
- Machine parts to specifications using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other tools.
- Inspect completed units for defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and operate various machine tools.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials.
- Monitor machine feed and speed during the machining process.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine fabrication methods and sequences of operations.
- Maintain industrial machines and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
- Disassemble machines for inspection and repair, replacing defective parts as needed.
- Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools.
